What is Caer Sidydd?
Better known as Caer Sidi, it is a Faerie fortress of the Celtic Otherworld where the souls of dead poets go to be reborn. Caer Sidi translates as the rotating fortress, and as such is thought to be a metaphor for the zodiac, which appears to rotate around the Earth throughout the year. It is because of this that the name Caer Sidydd is thought to be an acceptable alternate as it translates to Fortress of the Zodiac.
